Quiz Bowl Victory

As the coach of the Quiz Bowl team, I just want to take a moment to say how proud I was of my team yesterday. Yesterday was the first time since I have been coaching that JV and Varsity won on the same day. I was especially proud of the new team members since they had never been in a match before. Maybe the new red sweatshirts are a lucky charm. Congratulations, Lu Hi Quiz Bowlers!

Alternative Fine Days

Did you just come across that library book at the bottom of your locker? Did you finish your project and forget to return the library book you used as a source? No good excuse? No problem. From now until Christmas Chapel you can return your book to the library with a new toy for the toy drive or a container of pet food for the pet food drive and you will not have to pay a monetary fine.

Book Fair Success

Thank you to all of you who made our 7th annual Fall Book Fair a success. A major tip of the Crusader hat goes to our esteemed chairperson, Debbie Cavachiolli. She, along with her faithful crew of helpers made our fair so successful and inviting. I am proud to say that the sales of this fair came close to $2500 for Scholastic and the Christian Corner combined. We are looking forward to seeing you on April 23 for our Spring fair, which is a BOGO (Buy One Get One Free) fair. If you are interested in helping, please speak to Debbie Cavachiolli.

In addition to Scholastic, the Christian Corner (a Christian bookstore located in Bethpage) will also be bringing Christian books, music, and gifts to sell. If you are interested in helping, please speak to Debbie Cavachiolli.
